ETC for the home
During my last semester at Indiana University I got to participate in a practicum course in the Media School known as Agency 7—a very selective application-based course. Agency 7 works as a pro-bono all service agency where students interested in marketing, advertising, and public relations careers get to exercise their acquired skills, by providing a range of services for its clients—which vary on a semestral basis. I was ecstatic when I was selected to participate in the course and even more so when I ran for Team Leader and was elected to lead a team.
As part of this course, each team was assigned a real client to work with. The team I had the privilege to manage was for the client: ETC for the home, a furniture store. I acted as both Brand Manager and Art Director throughout the semester and developed a newspaper ad, direct mail postcard, email blast, website re-design mockups, and built a photo bank. As a team leader I also schedule meetings, kept our team on track, gathered all deliverables and encouraged a friendly and supportive environment for our team.
